There is no excuse for bad writing, and there is no excuse for something which passes itself off as good writing but is actually copied from someone else’s.
I sympathize with Sassy on her predicament. Plagiarism is downright deplorable. As writers, we spend hours in front of our computer to come up with our own creative work and we cannot stand having somebody copy and paste it in just one minute, without proper attribution.
This has got me to thinking whether the Creative Commons License pasted on many sites is of any use at all. I would like to be enlightened on how the aggrieved parties can run after plagiarists, if they can do so at all.
