*** On focus in this week’s Blog-o-Rama is the photoblog My Sari-Sari Store which features moving and startling images of the country – its people, its landscape, its culture and other events of interest. What makes this unique is that it’s an all-Filipino blog as seen from the perspective of a Belgian married to a Filipina. Go visit and see for yourself why foreign readers are taking notice and dropping by.
In the meantime, our forthcoming feature of the no-nonsense, straight-talking Pinay Expat in Deutschland should be an interesting one. Whew! We wonder how she juggles it all 🙂
*** I am tickled that my recent review of the Nokia 6230i is now posted in a major Malaysian website. No royalties involved, just linkbacks, but anything that will add to my Google credentials will do.
*** I finally bought a new PC from a nearby computer store yesterday. Even though it drained a hole in my wallet (this being enrolment time and all), I am glad that I was able to do it. The last time I bought one was eight years ago which is quite unthinkable since I’m a writer, hahaha. All this time I’ve been surviving through the office PC and laptop. My purchase came with a free computer table and chair and am glad that we now have this little corner of the world in our apartment. My high school classmate Anna Lyn, who is based in Norway, was kind enough to email me the desired PC specifications. Well dear, I sure hope we can have a Skype conversation on this tiny machine soon
