Yes Lani, Lido’s already franchising with branches in West Avenue and Madison Square, Ortigas . But nothing beats the original for the Chinatown ambiance I guess. (FYI, di po ako Lido stockholder with this promotion am making,hehe)

Hi Lawrence. Looks like am hard-pressed to do a full feature now, haha. Although a series would be a misnomer. Hmm, the Chinatown here has as much soul. You really feel like you’re in another world when you visit. And the food choices are endless. Am sure it can compare to the other Chinatowns in other parts of the globe, Singapore included. $1 noodles…check!:razz:

Was interested to read your article on Manila’s Chinatown and shall look forward to the rest (you did say first of o serious ).

I shall look forward to comparing it to Chinatown in Birmingham (yes, we do have one!!!) London and Singapore. It should be of great of interest as you are such a foody
