Blogging is all about knowing more people, and I was certainly ecstatic to meet the first blog reader to contact me and request a meeting in person, Mira from Hong Kong. Mira had been researching about places to see in Manila en route to her vacation here and came to this site. She thought it best to write me and several emails later, we finally saw each other eye to eye.
Yay! Mira was even sweet enough to bring me this delicious cranberry cookies from Aji Ichiban. I absolutely adored the cookies because they weren’t too sweet and the fact that they came in a very lovely packaging.
As for Mira herself , she was uber-vibrant and lively. Definitely no dull moment with her and am glad we hit it off completely. Moreover, I want to go to Hong Kong again..no, I will definitely fly over before the end of the year, and am glad I have an acquaintance to call when I come over to the territory:P
Mira came with her Japanese friend, Atsuko who was a first-timer to Manila and can’t wait to go back again. They got to tour the Mall of Asia, Chinatown and Makati where they were billeted. I got to join them one night in Greenbelt where they had the most fun dancing and sipping some drinks.
Three cultures, one friendship. Nice meeting you Mira & Atsuko. Till we see each other again:)
