Food Tag: You’re It!

Good mawning! Toni tagged us BloggingBerks for this, and am answering it:) Would also appreciate if you share here some of your answers too:

How do you like your eggs? I love Eggs Benedict. Too bad I don’t get to eat it everyday

How do you take your coffee/tea: Coffee: Brewed. Two sachets brown sugar. A little cream. Tea: I just dunk the tea bag and go!

Favorite breakfast foods: Before, it used to be really heavy stuff like tapsilog and I still occasionally feast on fried tuyo and the works. But on most days, it’s just hard-boiled eggs and banana.

Peanut butter: smooth or crunchy? Crunchy!

What kind of dressing on your salad? I’ll take whatever comes or is handy. Am not a salad person

Coke or Pepsi? Coke. Light.

You’re feeling lazy. What do you make? A tuna sandwich.

You’re feeling really lazy. What kind of pizza do you order? Nothing. Pizza is not my favorite food.

You feel like cooking. What do you make? A mean pasta puttanesca with lotsa tomatoes, capers and olives

Do any foods bring back good memories? Lechon roasted in our kitchen during the fiestas of my childhood, pancit which my mom cooked for us during our birthdays, picnicking on the beach with all kinds of grilled seafood, and the prime rib steak at Tagaytay Highlands

Do any foods bring back bad memories? The next time somebody serves me spoiled mussels in the office, I’ll sue him!

Is there a food you refuse to eat? I”ll eat balut and dinuguan only if you threaten to transport me to Lebanon. I’ll only eat liver if you pound it into a patty and disguise it as a hamburger

What was your favorite food as a child? Hotdogs!

Is there a food that you hated as a child but now love? Almost everything. I hardly ate anything at all then. Oh, and before I didn’t like tilapia but now it’s my favorite fried fish

Favorite fruit & vegetable: fruit – banana for my potassium fix, kiwi and berries when I can afford it; veggietables – squash

Favorite junk food: McDonald’s french fries. Jollibee’s fries smothered with cheese dip

You’re on a diet. What food(s) do you fill up on? Bananas.

How spicy do you order Indian/Thai? Whatever’s authentic. Not toned-down authentic….hmmmp

Can I get you a drink? Red wine or white? Red

We only have beer: Strong Ice.

Favorite dessert? Tiramisu. Or a good cheesecake.

The perfect nightcap? A steaming bowl of chicken wonton noodle soup

      How do you take your coffee/tea: Coffee-decaffenated, 1tsp creamer, 1 tsp sugar
      Favorite breakfast foods:Fried rice (with garlic and spring onions only on olive oil), tuyo, camatis (fresh) with white vinegar

      Do any foods bring back good memories? Pancit- brings back happy birthday celebrations of my brothers and sisters in Baguio
      Do any foods bring back bad memories? Eating fresh oysters in Bulacan- I was at the Infirmary for 3 days for intestinal flu! will never eat fresh oysters in the Phils again.
      s there a food you refuse to eat? Doggie meat- if I know it is (might be a shock to some)but dog meat is a delicacy in Baguio/Ilocos
      What was your favorite food as a child? Baguio sausage!
      Is there a food that you hated as a child but now love? Ampalaya or ‘bitter melon
      Favorite fruit & vegetable: fruit – tomatoes, mangoes, rambutan, lanzones, pears- i love fruits….
      Favorite junk food: KFC fried chicken
      You’re on a diet. What food(s) do you fill up on? Soup
      How spicy do you order Indian/Thai? Mild- I like to taste the ingredients!
      Can I get you a drink? Red wine or white? Red
      We only have beer: No ice but ice cold
      Favorite dessert? cheesecake.
      The perfect nightcap? ginger tea
