Love from my little Picasso

demention black hole

When a casting agent gave his business card to my son (handsome daw), the little tot wasn’t at all enthusiastic. Knowing him, he’s not really the type who’d feel comfortable facing the cameras. What he feels a close affinity with is the computer, like most members of his generation. And he’s got a number of files on Microsoft Paint to show for it…like this one.

house2

This is his own version of a house, complete with a chimney and not to forget, “a TV antenna!”

paolo1

My son’s own mountain. The sun also shines in Mount Everest :P

splatface

One of his favorite artworks which he calls “Splatface.”

In between grappling demands of my work and his school, there is one treasured conversation between me and my son:

Moi: Hey, do you love me?
Him: Yes, I do.
Moi: How much?
Him: Very much.

To borrow that old, tattered adage: the best things in life are free. Simply free.

    1. ajay,

marami-rami akong kinita sa TV Commercial raket!

hope your boy will eventually start enjoying acting in front of the cameras…

      pang-College Tuition,
or PS2 games, at the very least!

Hi Spanx. Sinabi ko na nga ba, commercial model ka. Pang-showbiz ka talaga eh :P

    3. toni says:

Gifted child! :) His artwork is very charming!!! Do you print them out and post them on the ref? :D

    4. ajay says:

      Hi Toni. No, I don’t…but I should! :D Regards…

    5. Jet says:

Aba, at talented din pala sa arts ang anak mo ha. I like the dimension black hole. Lovely colors. :)

    6. ajay says:

Thanks Jet:) I guess he takes after me??hehe. I used to draw myself but in our days, wala pang Microsoft Paint di ba..good’ ol pencil or charcoal lang :P

    8. ajay says:

      THAT’S SO SWEEEEEEEET!

    13. Lani says:

Yup, he is a little Picasso. Galing!

    14. ajay, your son is so talented. maybe he is not meant to be in front of the cameras. rule of thumb in child development, whatever he is good at, enroll him in a formal class chuvaneschenelyn. in this case, maybe a digital art class for kids? he’s very good!

Suggestion, mare. Print them sa kodak (para mura), tapos print it also on transfer paper, then iron it on his shirt. shet, bakla. artist ang anak mez!

      miss ya, mare! mwah! :-)

    15. ajay says:

      Thank you, Eszra and Lani.

Hi Beautiful Jerome.I was also planning to print out the drawings but you gave me the idea of putting ‘em on the shirt… thanks and regards mare!:)

    16. ajay,

all my artist friends (amateur, professional) are in this “friendster” for artistic folks:

      http://www.deviantart.com

don’t let the URL throw you off, it’s pretty decent. but as with Friendster,
      parental supervision will be required.

      see ya next saturday!!

    17. Jaypee says:

wow, i think your kid has the talent for the arts! his paintings are good for his age. if he’s really into that, maybe you should enroll him in an art class unless he already is in one. the tv commercial thing can be his sideline, extra racket. hehe :D

    18. ajay says:

Thanks for the heads-up on deviantart Spanx. Gotta try it one of these days!

Thank you too Jaypee :P For his age, pwede na, di ba?
