Top Pinoy blogger Retz tagged me to share some secrets (as if this blog is not enough already.) Here’s some I can think of:
I don’t play cards, even solitaire. Even though I have boxes of playing cards in the house and even though I’ve worked as a casino dealer before and now still work in the casino. My job prevents me from playing or gambling so… (buzz me if you want some cards, will you? hehe)
I was such a picky eater as a child. Right now, am a certified foodie but when I was small, my meals were limited to eggs and eating rice with soy sauce. As a result, I was reed-thin and bony. My appetite only ballooned when I was a teenager.
I was a good girl in college.
The “good” part being that I didn’t have a single boyfriend. I only concentrated on my studies, and books. Err, what’s wrong with this? Am still a good girl now. Only a little more naughty. Pfft.
In high school I wanted to be a nun. I can’t remember why, I just wanted to. Maybe it was seeing all the nuns in school. But I clearly remember this was my first “career” dream.
I started writing at age 10. Nothing grand. But I remember being so preoccupied with writing scripts for radio programs and TV shows. First saw my byline in a national publication at age 17. Who knows where your passion will lead you?
As for my other “secrets,” the un-wholesome ones, surely my second husband will know, lol.
Tagging Toe, Jher, Sachiko and The Queer Chef for this one. Excite us and share with us some of your secrets.:)

hmmm, second husband and un-wholesome “secrets”. All sounds quite fascinating. So when’s the wedding……

I wanted to be a nun too when I was 4 years old. Actually, I wanted to be a flying nun (you remember the TV show?)
Will think of secrets… can I make them up?
[Reply]
Sure you’re free to do anything Toe.. although making up secrets is a rather difficult question to ask myself;)

that’s interesting about the cards. i guess you saw it too much that consciously you avoided it plus the job factor.

ey ajay, i need cards! hehehe. same here, I was such a picky eater all the way up to high school, i could not even eat in other people’s houses. so imagine going to birthday parties and not touching any of the food there. looking back, I think it was because my yaya made me so scared of germs I developed an ocd. Good thing I overcame the disorder in college. Now I eat anything. Except insects. And raw exotic meat.
I visit your blog often. We have a common friend.

Good to hear from you Bong. My son is following in my picky eating habits, though I know that like you, he will outgrow it too.
