Batjay, maraming places offering beef hofan sa Manila (mostly Chinese restos)..you just have to choose which places offer the most delectable versions.

The affable owner Mr. So told moi they’re opening another branch in J. Nakpil soon. So they must be doing well..

first comment from a long-time lurker

I used to work in malate and i’d often pass by Malate Tea House when coming from Ermita area or the nearby mall. I’ve often wondered how this “unappealing” tea house survived the competition since chinese tea houses abound in the area. It’s said that my former employer’s cantonese expat manager loves to eat here which adds to my astonishment. And then this post!

Will take your word for it and hopefully, I get to drop by some time soon.
