  1. Fish & Co., and an overpriced dessert ….

    April 4, 2010 by ajay

That day being Holy Thursday, there was a dearth of hang-outs open, particularly the ones that we often frequent. But I remember how thankful hubby was that S & R Membership Shopping didn’t close its doors for last-minute grocery runs, it closed only during Good Friday. I also read an ad in the papers about select restos open in the Mall of Asia during Holy Week 2010 and that’s how we ended up in Fish & Co.

Fish & Co. is part of the Bistro food chain which includes TGI Friday’s, Italianni’s and Flapjacks. We like the last three for their big-size American (Italian) servings. I figure it was time to introduce hubs to Fish and Co. since he likes his fish and chips (preferably with malt vinegar, but they didn’t offer it). That’s what he ordered when we went there, while I settled for Salmon Teriyaki (single serving for P385).

Was glad that hubby was satisfied with his meal and the fish was just cooked right. I could say the same for my salmon. I thought how easy it must be to work in a fish restaurant (but only if you didn’t scale fish!) Fish and seafood is uncomplicated to make and is done in just a few minutes, unlike beef, pork or lamb which you have to tenderize for minutes and hours :D
