Share Your BGC Story: Vivian Aguilar

Thank you to all those who sent in their comments and blog posts to the
Share Your Bonifacio Global City story contest. Our winner for Week 1 is Vivian Aguilar, a wife, office girl and mother who shares the reasons why she likes BGC in this heartwarming blog post. Congratulations Vivian! Your P3,000 Ayala Malls electronic gift cheque is on its way to you.

Hope you have fun using it to watch movies with your family, buy groceries at the Landmark, shop in retail stores or eat in more restaurants. :D

For those who want to join, now is your chance because we’re entering Week 2 of the contest. The mechanics remain the same. Just leave a comment at the end of this post (and email me two pictures) or write a blog entry on why Bonifacio Global City is your kind of place! If you’ve already made a comment in the first post, you need not re-submit as I will still consider them for Weeks 2 & 3. Great, right? But we want more coz the more, the merrier!

Let me share with you one of my fave places in Serendra, Cafe Mary Grace which has also opened a spot at the new St. Luke’s Medical Center in Fort Bonifacio Global City (aside from being located in other malls in the metro).

Mary Grace has carved a name for its heavenly cheese rolls and melt-in-your mouth ensaymadas. I like my ensaymada grilled with a cup of their hot chocolate. But my favorite of all time is their black velvet cake (P124 for a slice). The rich chocolate cake contrasts perfectly with the savory cream cheese frosting and filling (hence the name black velvet). This is one dessert I will have, again and again.

Cafe Mary Grace branches are quite small, but I like how they still managed to make it cozy. Nice touches like flowers and letters written by customers never fail.

Cafe Mary Grace isn’t just about cakes, cheese rolls and ensaymada. They also offer pastas, salads and sandwiches. In this photo: a healthy serving of fried kesong puti on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes, then drizzled with calamansi vinaigrette.

  10. I loved BGC because the area is well planned with nice buildings and venues that is an adventure at anytime!
When I first went there, I thought I went to another country, even though I never went overseas…
