Katy Perry has been playing in my car radio and I have to admit she’s my favorite female singer at the moment. Aside from the fact that she’s pretty (in her won right), she’s simply oozing with talent & I wouldn’t be surprised if she remains a musical star for a long time.
You gotta admire this girl’s style. Even if lyrics like take me, ta-ta-take me/wanna be a victim/ready for abduction/ are a bit on the mushy side, she manages to make it sound hip. Her music and the way she delivers the songs will always interest me. I wouldn’t be surprised if her rendition of Boom, boom, boom/Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon/ It’s always been inside of you, you, you/And now it’s time to let it through/ (from the single “Firework”) will be the new anthem of avid teenagers and people who want go out of their shell or better yet, change the world!
But for the record, the Katy Perry song that attracts me is “The One That Got Away…” Tee hee.

I love Katy Perry because of the magic she makes with her music. I don’t know how, but her songs seem to be the soundtrack of my life. the first song of katy perry that i heard was the song simple, and it played over and over again i my mind! the thing that i love about her songs is that it touches ones heart and live a melody, a melody that stays. The song SIMPLE by katy perry was included in the soundtrack to the movie-adaption of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in 2006, i loved her even before she rule the top charts and the most requested songs in various radio station. here are some of the lines i love…

I love Katy Perry for simply being herself and for not being afraid to tell/show the world who she is. Like any other artists, people criticizes and tries to pull her down. Instead of expending her energy defending herself and proving her detractors wrong, she silences them by doing what she does best. I was able to watch the making of her video for “Fireworks” and true enough, she becomes a voice for all these people who tries to break away from the norms of stereotyping. She empowers all to embrace their true selves and never give up on one’s dreams. Truly inspiring!!!

Why i love Katy Perry? It is not just i envy her beautiful face or her almost perfect sexy body but her singing prowess every distraction on her way. No wonder in the short span, her singing career makes her one of the most sizzling and in demand singer of this time and her albums are making on the top of the charts.
She ignites my baby Peachy’s desire to sing, just by hearing the intro of “Firework”, she will started to become ecstatic and become jumping as high as she could but i first admire her way back then when she sings “I kiss the girl” , which really caught my attention. I even download the video on my cellphone and made it my ringtone for quite a period of time.
This one sweet lady who as a youngster only hears gospel songs is now rocking every one’s world and even mine.
