My female buddies and I have found the perfect place to chill in Burgos Circle: it’s at the al fresco area of L’Entrecote Corner Bistro. Watching people pass by is my cheap thrill: I get to notice everyone’s sense of fashion, try to guess what they do for a living, what they’re thinking. And since this is Bonifacio Global City, you get to see a lot of celebrities too.
We were waiting for our dinner at L’Entrecote when Brapanese model Hideo Muraoka zoomed by, and our jaws almost dropped. If you know Hideo, I think he’s got more sex appeal than boy-next-door @dandanmatsunaga. Sigh! 🙂
Anyway..the steak I had at L’Entrecote in 2011 was really glorious. These days, the portion is a bit sad. But it’s still my go-to place when I want to have the authentic French steak & frites experience.
Now that some people are abstaining from meat because of the Lenten season, the resto has prepared several special that its loyal diners can indulge in.
For instance, there’s the “Sweet” US Maine Lobster Tail on Saffron Risotto with green asparagus tips and Espelette Flavored Lemon-Aioli Sauce.
Or how about the Grilled Marinated Norwegian Salmon with Dijon Mustard, Dill Sour Cream Sauce on warm Mediterranean Vegetable Couscous tossed in Herb Vinaigrette….
I really like the pastas in L’Entrecote and am sure this is equally good: Deep Sea Scallops on Spaghetti tossed in a Cheesy-Lime Cream Sauce with Young Leeks and Roasted Garlic.
But “you can also order your favorite accompaniment of soups or salads or any other item from the menu. Enjoy your meal with a wide selection of wines and spirits. Have a sweet ending with unique dessert creations.” So their press release says.
What can I say: everything looks yum!
