it’s a surprise to trace a former colleague in writing. i hope u still remember the former DECS at the Palacio Del Governador in Intramuros, with Tony Valencia as the prexy of the DECS Press Corps. I was writing for a tabloid then (sorry i don’t remember anynmore what newspaper you were connected during that time) and you were also still studying at UST. Lito Bautista was my editor. how can i forget u, ikaw ang unang nag-treat sa akin ng egg sandwich sa 5th floor canteen sabay bulong “wag mo sabihin sa iba ha?” you’re so nice, even without the libreng snack, he-he.

I am no longer connected with any newspaper (i became an OFW after four years as a correspondent). of course i miss the others: didi doloricon of malaya, angie dela cruz of radio veritas, si mousy of the then globe, tony v. of radyo ng bayan, tess bedico of journal, nympha rueda of inquirer and a lot more names i can no longer recall but their faces are still fresh in my mind.

Anyway, got hold of your blog, kasi I was in touch (through his blog) with Batjay (brother of Howlin’ Dave or Dante David, who passed away, ex-dj of DzRJ), and while reading through his blog, I saw you had an interview with him about his blook. Kapitbahay ko sila nuon, sa Novaliches, during which we were all over Metro Manila’s discotheques. Remember? Miss ko ang mga happenings, but like you, I am now a family man, with two daughters.
