Hello everyone:) With this post, am wrapping up the Bonifacio Global City promotion. Thank you to everyone who left emails, comments and sent in their entries. It was nice to know kindred souls who also share their love for Bonifacio Global City. I hope to see you around the area soon ;)

After announcing our winners for Week 1 and Week 2, we’d like to express our congratulations to Week 3 winner Elna Escalante-Leal who lists Bonifacio High Street as her favorite hangout with her husband and their labrador retriever named Bea. As you know, BHS is one pet-friendly establishment in the metro and our winner shares her family’s play and bonding moments in this post.

  2. Share Your Bonifacio Global City Story Week 3: a weekend brunch at Mamou Serendra

    August 9, 2010 by ajay

Yes dears, this is the final week of our Share Your Bonifacio Global City Story contest. And it looks like we will be having one winner for our P3,000 Ayala gift card this week. Isn’t that fab?

If you hang out in BGC, work there or visited just once, do send me your thoughts on what makes it rock in terms of food and family bonding time. Am sure there’s something new to rave about it, even if it’s just enjoying the view or jogging in its clean streets. The best things in Bonifacio Global City are free!

If you wanna join the final week of this contest, kindly leave a comment at the end of this post. For the full contest mechanics, click here. I will accept entries only up to August 13.

    Mamou @ Serendra

Let me share with you how our weekend went. Mamou home kitchen in Serendra is one of my fave restaurants, and because the place is always full with reservations, we always end up sitting in the outdoor dining area. It is a blessing, since I always get to people watch and see the world pass by.

Here is the view that greeted me yesterday. It rained, but the overall ambiance was still sunny and bright. The whole place was just starting to wake up, and I liked it because I get to have an unobstructed view. How lucky the residents of Serendra must be to just step outside their doors and get a taste of the metro’s trendiest establishments and restaurants! :D

    Serendra Piazza, after the rain

Mamou @ Serendra has weekend brunch offerings, another good reason to wake up early on Sundays. I ordered lamb tapa (P395) which is on their regular menu, but qualifies as brunch anyway. It was most flavorful and none of the “gamey” after taste usually associated with lamb. The dish came in a bowl with eggs in truffle oil and a siding of salsa. The good thing with this restaurant, you get to choose healthy alternatives. I was asked whether I wanted red or white rice to go with my tapa, and I chose red ;)

  4. Share your Bonifacio Global City story and win P3,000 electronic GC

    July 19, 2010 by ajay

It’s a sunny Monday in Manila! And to welcome the sunshine (after the pesky storm, Basyang :D ) this blog, annalyn.net, is pleased to announce our new promo, the Share Your Bonifacio Global City Story contest.

Does your family spend quality bonding time in Bonifacio Global City? What culinary memories and discoveries have you had here? If hanging out in Bonifacio Global City has become a big part of your life (like we do!) time to write down your best BGC family and food stories for a chance to win prizes. We will run the promo for three weeks until the second/third week of August and the weekly winners will each receive a P3,000 electronic gift card from the Ayala Malls. Please read the end of this post for the simple mechanics.

    Bonifacio High Street

Bonifacio High Street is one of our fave spots in the metro. Love the fact that it’s pet- and family-friendly. It was designed in such a way that people, especially children, can freely roam and play in its open spaces. Manila is crowded with too many vehicles and high-rises as it is. We go to BHS to recharge, smell the breeze or just look around any of their specialty boutiques.

The kids love building Lego blocks at Hobbes & Landes, playing the sandbox at ROX, reading children’s books at Fully Booked or simply whiling the hours away at Time Zone!
