Now that it’s Thanksgiving 2010 ( celebrated in the US on Thursday, November 25), what are you thankful for this year? I can think of a few heartfelt things … a safe, happy home; the love of my husband; the birth of our baby Lucy; and feeling all of God’s abundant grace. I feel that am not wanting of things right now if I choose to live life simply, and to think that life is not a race to be rich or have the biggest house on the road. Instead, I will aim to see the world and savor quality moments with my family and people who matter because indeed, life is short.
With this thought in mind, we went on to enjoy a potato-theme dinner at Lolo Dad’s Brasserie ahead of Thanksgiving Day. Trust on Chef Ariel Manuel to come up with gourmet dishes on the everyday potatoes we love. The brasserie has tied up with the US Potato Board to whip up a special Thanksgiving menu which will be available from November 22-27, 2010 at P2,500, good for four courses. Trust us, it will be worth it.
