With over 2.8 million Filipino children currently out-of-school, Unilever Philippines and Lazada have come together to launch Shop2Give Year 2 #AddDreamsToCart, a 24-hour shopping event happening tomorrow, August 20.
Unilever products will be discounted up to 80 per cent off and the proceeds will be used to support UNICEF’s Quality Education program. With each purchase, shoppers do their part in helping send out-of-school children in the Philippines back to school.
Given the success of last yearโs Shop2Give campaign, which has expanded across multiple
Southeast Asian countries, Unilever and Lazada are once again expecting millions of Filipinos to
extend a helping hand with as simple as a click of a button. Although the online shopping event will be held only for one day – August 20 – with an accompanying Facebook Live event, shoppers began filling their carts with Unilever staples as early as August 16.
For the whole day of August 20, , Unilever will also give Lazada a fun and adorable makeover, transforming the interface of the online shopping giant into what looks like a kid’s art gallery. All participating Unilever product photos will be replaced by hand-drawn renditions of the product while product names will be changed to childrenโs names. Examples: Closeup will transform to Chloe, Dove becomes Dianne and Axe will be Axel, to name a few.
Aside from 80% off on Unilever products with collectible vouchers, shoppers will also be able to take advantage of the following deals:
-A free Shop2Give tote bag for the first 1,000 shoppers
-All day flash sale of up to 70% off
-All day free shipping with a minimum purchase of Php 300.00
-Lazada vouchers with up to 30% discount beginning August 17
