Seen & heard at the 1st Philippine BlogCon 2006

September 26, 2006 ·

Blogcon shots Here are some shots at the fun-filled 1st Philippine BlogCon which was held at Greenbelt's National Sports Grill last night. I simply had to attend this event as a blogger and as a columnist. The bonus was seeing some people I've only corresponded with online like the charming Noemi Dado, unassuming Retz, Andrei of Eche..blah..blah; some other new acquaintances I was excited to see for the first time and biggies like Yuga, Jayvee, Marc Gloria, Jangelo and others who are literally rolling in their blogging dollars :P It was nice to see you all ... This single mom gets help: earning money from blog ads

September 23, 2006 ·

Yay! It feels like Christmas in September as I finally got my first paycheck from this site's ads yesterday, in US $$$ pa!!. If I had my way, blog entries should come with a fine print: TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK, the disclaimer being that: everything written in a blog is based on the author's subjective standards and tastes, and may not necessarily suit that of the reader's. I might rave about a Lonely Planet hostel but it may not be for somebody ... Continue Reading...

July 4, 2006 ·

Me@mira Blogging is all about knowing more people, and I was certainly ecstatic to meet the first blog reader to contact me and request a meeting in person, Mira from Hong Kong. Mira had been researching about places to see in Manila en route to her vacation here and came to this site. She thought it best to write me and several emails later, we finally saw each other eye to eye. ... Continue Reading...
