Meralco to offer prepaid electricity soon
And we thought prepaid was only for mobile phones! It was quite a surprise hearing from the country's main electricity distributor Meralco that they will be offering prepaid kuryente soon (and that's hopefully before the end of the year!) Lucky Chinatown Mall in Binondo, Manila - the heart of the Chinatown district - is definitely worth checking out. We went here on a holiday Monday (National Heroes Day) which made traffic light and bearable in this part of town. On ordinary days, the roads will probably be hard to navigate.
