This day has been busy with a visit to the Makati Med emergency room to have my youngest daughter checked.So yes, I only learned late this afternoon that Pinay caregiver Rose Fostanes was declared the grand winner of X Factor Israel. Was watching today Youtube videos of Filipina caregiver Rose Fostanes who has advanced to the first season finals of X Factor Israel. Having been an OFW myself, it's really nice when some of the country's unsung heroes make waves in the international scene. In what is called a grand slam year for Filipino beauty queens, we were happy to learn last night that Bea Rose Santiago was crowned Miss International in Tokyo. It seemed only a few weeks ago that I met Bea Rose again at the Rexona Do More awards (the first was at the Bb. Pilipinas 2013 presentation where she wasn't a title holder yet). 19-year old Canadian superstar Justin Bieber just became the most active Hollywood celebrity to help the victims of super typhoon Haiyan by personally going to the Philippines to oversee his own aid efforts.
