One of the things that made my recent overseas trip harder than usual was compiling documentary requirements for the Taiwan visa. The last time I did so was for a trip to Japan in 2005. I've also gotten so used to travelling around Southeast Asia where getting around (luckily) doesn't require a visa for Filipinos. You need to have patience and attention to details when completing your visa requirements and also make sure - first and foremost - that your Philippine passport does not expire in six months, otherwise you may not be able to travel. The good news: if you ... Continue Reading...
EVA Air (BR 272) flight, Manila to Taipei
I haven't gotten out of the country in close to a year, and so an opportunity to go to Taiwan was a welcome respite. I can't believe how close Taipei is to Manila. Cebu Pacific horror stories are in the air again. On Facebook and Twitter tonight, Cebu Pacific is getting some flak from online denizens for refusing to carry a special child. In this case, a child with global developmental delay. The reports are sketchy as of yet, but online folks are crying foul to this move by Cebu Pacific which takes pride in its slogan "Now Every Juan Can Fly."
