As a blogger, the quality of my monitor is as important as the software and hardware of my computer. The main reason: I don't want my eyes to suffer. Second: I want to maximize whatever pleasure I get from internet surfing, viewing movies and playing games on my desktop. I have the 22-inch Philips "Brilliance" LCD monitor which I love for its ergonomic design. Its built-in Power Sensor is most commendable because monitor brightness is reduced when am away from my desk, even for just a bit - greatly reducing my power cost. If only for my experience with this monitor, ... Continue Reading...

Yes, my Blog-O-Rama column in Manila Bulletin Technews continues to be alive - born in 2004 and still kickin' in 2011! :D Through all these years, I've seen the landscape evolve drastically and most us have learned to take it with a bit of fear and then meek acceptance. My life in Foursquare

iPad 64gb with wi-fi + 3G first impressions
Ever since I had my aluminum Mac (let's call her Stella), I've begun subscribing to the dictum "once you go Mac, you never go back." Stella has been my most trusted blogging companion, a repository of my most precious files and photos. It doesn't ever go into hanging episodes or virus attacks. Thank God for Christmases, looks like Stella now has a worthy sibling in the iPad 64gb with wifi +3G - a much-liked gift from the techie hubby. I love this new gadget not just because it is the hottest item ... Continue Reading...
