In my bid to visit major bazaars in the metro, I've put this on my calendar: The Premium Brands Midnight Sale happening on December 15 to 17 at the Megatent Events Venue along Meralco Avenue, Pasig City, from 12 noon to 12 midnight. The good thing is that this bazaar is all happening for a good cause. The main proponent is JCI-Manila or more popularly known as the Manila Jaycees. They will use proceeds from the sale to fund their noteworthy projects for the community such as the Alay Lakad, the Ten Outstanding Young Policemen (TOYP), the Blessed Theresa of Calcutta ... Noel bazaar @ World Trade Center shopping finds
Unlike the free entrance policy of the Cuenca bazaar, my family had to shell out P50 each to enter the Noel Discovery bazaar at the World Trade Center in Manila. I grumbled a bit. I mean, why do we have to shell out money to be able to patronize something that's earning from the tenants already? I just hope the fees they collected go to charity as the place was just packed with people on the day of our visit. And unlike the Cuenca bazaar which was in a remote location, I thought the Noel bazaar had less security. The WTC being in the boundary of Manila, Makati and ... Continue Reading...
Cuenca (St. James the Great) bazaar in Ayala Alabang: shopping finds
It was my first time at the St. James the Great bazaar (better known by its shorter name Cuenca bazaar) yesterday and I had a blast. Now I know what makes this event a famous pitstop of shopaholics from all over the metro even with its out-of-the-way location. I thought it was just across Alabang Town Center. Turns out you really have to drive all the way through the posh neighborhood of Ayala Alabang Village until you reach a far end, the so-called covered court of Cuenca St. Parking can be a pain because of the volume of visitors. But I must say I liked the ... Continue Reading...

If you're looking for fashion items and other knick-knacks, go to any stalls in our 2010 Christmas bazaars list. But if computers, cellphones and other gadgets are on top of your list, the forthcoming COMDDAP Expo Manila 2010 is the way to go.
