I enjoyed the Hong Kong Flower Show 2013 and it was a lucky coincidence that I am in HK again for the flower show's 2016 edition! Even better: the family was billeted in Causeway Bay which was just a short walk away from the show's venue in Victoria Park. Entrance to the HK Flower Show is HKD$14 while for kids it's only $7. Olango Island: a good day trip from Mactan, Cebu
A visit to Olango Island makes a good alternative if you're tired of the usual beach-hopping around Mactan and beyond.In fact, you can make this trip for a little under 500 pesos per person.Olango is quite known for being a bird watcher's paradise and for their marine sanctuary.
