Esquire Philippines does a portrait of John Lloyd Cruz's not-so-well known back in its February 2014 issue. Oddly enough, there's not a single photo of the heartthrob's face on its minimalist cover, for a change. But the info about his growing reputation as a valued patron in art circles is revealing, if not refreshing. Most of us don't know that JLC seriously dabbles in art and there are photos of all those paintings and sculptures in his apartment. At a street price of P200, Esquire is kinda out of my budget (LOL) but I realized I can pay even P500 for a dose ... Continue Reading...

Ellen Adarna for Monster Energy Drink + contest
No, we don't think hot cover girl and upcoming actress Ellen Adarna will cry rape inside her condo anytime soon. Instead, she has chosen to endorse Monster Energy Drink in the Philippines. Judging from these initial pictures, all we can say is: R A W R :) Worldwide, Monster has made a name for itself by sponsoring major sporting events (especially in the extreme category). It is making a splash in the Philippines by giving three Filipino fans of gymkhana, a type of motorsport, the chance to go to Tokyo, Japan with Ellen Adarna and thereafter have a meet & ... So I was told it's every three years now. Even so, the waiting time was quite long even if it was done in a mall. Maybe it was all a matter of timing? It was, after ... Continue Reading...
Vhong Navarro case: was it organized blackmail?
Because am stuck with my love triangle/booty call-gone-wrong theory on the Vhong Navarro case, a few friends have pointed out to me a probable scenario of what really happened on the night of January 22 when the It's Showtime actor got mauled inside the rented condo of Deniece Cornejo. I have to say that my friends' theory of an "organized blackmail operation" makes sense considering these questions begging to be answered: 1. Based on the CCTV footage released by the NBI, why was there only one or two minutes difference between the time Vhong entered the condo, ... Continue Reading...
