The family has just spent a most fabulous weekend in Punta Fuego and Tagaytay City and will be posting the pictures tomorrow.Allow me to let you in on a secret: while New York is my most favorite city in the whole world, Tagaytay is my favorite city in the Philippines. Surely, there are no comparisons between the two but I am simply enamored by Tagaytay's dainty charm, its cool weather, enchanting greenery and of course, the majestic view of Taal Volcano. This is the reason why am paying an arm and a leg for a piece of land 20 minutes from this city and it is here ... Continue Reading...
Bacolod City: a food lover’s paradise
Bacolod's famous chicken roasting in the open fireOriginally uploaded by annalyn. I was surprised to learn that two of my blog friends, Karen and Day come from Bacolod which is one of my favorite cities in the Philippines. When prime rib is better than sex
My workload has consumed me this week and so it was such a relief when the presentation we were slaving on for days on end was finally delivered by our COO before congressmen and their staff at a hotel last night. It was interesting to see the country's legislators glued to the widescreen in the hotel ballroom as my dear agency appealed for our franchise extension. I feel good at being a part of a patriotic mission to secure the future of my 11,000 or so fellow employees. We need our jobs beyond 2008 and this country in dire straits also needs the billions in revenues ... Continue Reading...
