I've always wanted to check out Earth Kitchen in Katipunan but being from the South, the location was far from me. I was thrilled to learn that they've opened in bustling Bonifacio Global City, and got an invite to try their specialties no less. As a purveyor of farm-to-table cuisine, dining at Earth Kitchen is always for a good cause since they support the Got Heart Farms in Tarlac. There are other communities from Luzon to Mindanao where they source the ingredients. The emphasis is on healthy, organic produce that's free from GMOs, pesticides and other harmful ... Greenwich opens first pizzeria in BGC
July 23 was a milestone for our friends from Greenwich Pizza because this was the day when they opened their first pizza store in the fastest-growing area that's the Bonifacio Global City. Even though I wasn't able to personally greet them during the event, I was with them in spirit, especially as they just made this blog's readers happy with our recent Creamy Carbonara giveaway....yay! The newest Greenwich location is at the BGC Stopover Pavilion on the corner of 31st Street and 2nd Avenue. It's a showcase of the chain's much classier store designs.Casual pizzeria ... Cafe Naya at The Palace BGC
We had an awesome dining experience in Cafe Naya at The Palace Pool Club in Uptown BGC two weeks ago. My club hopping days are definitely over and it's elating to find out that one can dine decently in a party place and not just get 'wasted' on the dance floor (or in this case...the pool!) The personalities behind the newly-opened Cafe Naya (which includes foodpreneur Erwann Heusaff) said they specialize in 'Coastal Cuisine.' Pescetarians should rejoice because there are a lot of fish and seafood choices in the menu, although there are items to delight carnivores as ... Continue Reading...
Limbaga 77 restaurant opens in QC
Limbaga 77 is the name of a restaurant that has just opened in what used to be the quiet residential area of Scout Limbaga, Tomas Morato, Quezon City. It is still a quiet, refined neighborhood, just more alive & exciting now with the addition of new places like this one. Limbaga 77 stands from what used to be a 50-year old house. Its original architecture was retained including the wooden floor panels and the large window frames, to preserve its cozy, homey feel. The old house’s receiving areas were converted into dining halls, bedchambers into function rooms and ... Continue Reading...
In Leyte : Pagatpat restaurant & Hindang Caves
I went on a personal matter to my hometown over the weekend and despite being such a pain in the butt - literally, because of the long land travel from the airport - I was still glad to discover new places, plus a few more to tick off my bucket list! Eastern Visayas is such a gem to explore in the Philippines, and we're not just talking about its heavenly beaches. First, my cousins brought me to Pagatpat, an eatery with a view which they often frequent. The billboard says it's a "century old seafoods restaurant" and it's located in Matalom, Leyte. The resto ... Continue Reading...
