I've been loving Alabang lately, ever since I discovered a driving shortcut going here from BF Homes. You know why I like it? It makes me feel am "out of town" while NOT being out of town :) Alabang is far even for a Southern belle like me but I'm always happy to see lush trees, open space layouts and being in malls that aren't filled with HORDES of people, if you know what I mean. I still savor the memory of the most magnificent meal I had last week. Spanish food is something I don't eat everyday and when I do, am reminded of my dream to be in Barcelona, imbibing good food, wine and music. Glad I don't have to go too far because there's Cova Tapas Y Sangria in Jupiter St., Makati. Just in case you wonder why the picture looks like the one above, Cova means cave in Spanish. Yes fellow neighbors from the South... that's tomorrow already. Check out this authentic tonkatsu place spearheaded by a Japanese chef on 252 Aguirre Avenue in BF Homes, Paranaque City (in front of Songkran).
