Village Tavern is the latest resto of the Bistro Group which is most famous for their Italianni's and Friday's. Since they serve American cuisine, expect hefty servings. Price is at an average of P500 per dish (or $10) but the portions satisfy and the food is good which is why we give it a thumbs up! The Maryland Crab Cakes (P495) are the best in town. xiao long bao in Manila at Shi Lin
I imagine I must have been a full-bloodied Chinese in my past life coz I love dimsum. There are times when intense siomai cravings hit and I just gotta have it. The soupy xiao long bao is one of those that's been added to the mainstream dimsum list in town and am glad to have eaten the whole variety - from Suzhou to Jasmine to Lugang Cafe and Crystal Jade.
