It was my first time at the St. James the Great bazaar (better known by its shorter name Cuenca bazaar) yesterday and I had a blast. Now I know what makes this event a famous pitstop of shopaholics from all over the metro even with its out-of-the-way location. I thought it was just across Alabang Town Center. Turns out you really have to drive all the way through the posh neighborhood of Ayala Alabang Village until you reach a far end, the so-called covered court of Cuenca St. Parking can be a pain because of the volume of visitors. But I must say I liked the ... Continue Reading...
Aranaz launches Mercato bag for Rags2Riches
The Mercato bag, a stylized market basket designed by Amina Aranaz-Alunan was recently launched at Members Only in the Fort. If you're looking for a freestanding store of the noted watchmaker Rado of Switzerland, there's only one in the Philippines, and it can be found at the ground floor of Glorietta 4. We got an invite recently to witness the unveiling of their redesigned store. It turned out to be a costly proposition since hubby and I ended up buying two of their impeccable Swiss watches :D I tried to console myself by saying it was my birthday, 2) Mr. Z was buying it for me anyway, and 3) a well-made watch is a better investment than a designer bag.
