The country’s biggest fashion celebration is back this October, now with a fresh name and even bigger vision. What once began as BYS Fashion Week, known for bold runway shows and creative collaborations, has evolved into Manila Fashion Week (MNLFW) — a global stage proudly rooted in Filipino talent.
A Legacy Reinvented
Over the years, BYS Fashion Week built a reputation for daring concepts and unforgettable showcases. It became the go-to platform where top designers, rising talents, and local brands came together to shape modern Filipino style.
Now reborn as Manila Fashion Week, the event takes things further — expanding its reach, strengthening its ties with international fashion, and reaffirming its mission to elevate homegrown creativity.
The rebrand represents more than a name change. It’s a statement: Filipino design belongs in the global conversation.

In past years, BYS Fashion Week drew celebrities, influencers, and fashion editors alike — turning every show into a cultural moment. With its new identity, Manila Fashion Week promises even more star-studded attendance and a stronger presence from regional creatives, making it the must-see fashion event of 2025.
A Vision to Take Filipino Fashion Global
At the heart of this transformation is John Lozano, founder of Manila Fashion Week. His goal is simple but ambitious: to build a world-class platform for Filipino designers to share their stories with the world.
“There’s so much talent in this country but not enough spaces to showcase them properly,” says Lozano. “We hope Manila Fashion Week becomes that platform — a place where Filipino creativity can shine and reach international audiences.”
He adds,
“Ultimately, we want MNLFW to be something the region and even the world will look forward to every year. But above all, it should always be a celebration of the best in Filipino fashion.”
Collaboration and Support
This year’s edition of Manila Fashion Week is Powered by Ploom, and made possible with partners including BYS, SM Aura, Deoproce, Bioten, Nustar, DOST PTRI, Nutrifizz, Sula, Spacey, and KMC Solutions.
