Most people from Manila go to Tagaytay, Pansol, Anilao or wherever near when spending their weekends out of the city. Am guilty of that too.But most recently, I went with my friends to a day tour of Taal, Batangas and enjoyed it every step of the way. I highly recommend putting this lovely heritage town on your radar for a historically eye-opening experience :) It was a sunny day and perfect for travelling. Our first stop was the town's famous landmark, the Basilica of St. Martin of Tours, more popularly known as the Taal Cathedral. A fine example of Baroque ... Continue Reading...
Five things to check out in Yangon, Myanmar
Last October, I was supposed to go to the Zumba fest in Bali like we did last year but went against it after realizing last-minute air fares weren't so friendly. So I decided to go on a random trip instead to Yangon, Myanmar. Why Yangon? Because I haven't been there and it's always been my aim to visit at least one new foreign city or foreign country each year. But as my kids are older now, I do feel they are ... Continue Reading...

Hair growth is a big problem for me. I am what you'd call'balbon in Filipino. Hair would grow fast on my legs and underarm and I would resort to creams and waxing every few weeks. It was my first time to try laser treatment when premium brand Cutera invited select lifestyle bloggers to a "beauty break" at Aruga By Rockwell Hotel. I was really excited because we would experience first-hand ... Continue Reading...
