Random thoughts on this new year

January 6, 2005 ·

Keep on beginning and failing. Each time you fail, start all over gain, and you will grow stronger until you have accomplished a purpose - not the one you began with perhaps, but one you'll be glad to remember. ~ Anne SullivanDid you feel the way I did about dreading the onset of the new year? Call me uninspired but I didn't seem to be excited about reporting for work last Monday. So I did!It turned out to be enjoyable. My son slept through the fireworks but the twins and me had fun dancing after the clock ... Continue Reading...

When Pinoy Bloggers Meet

January 2, 2005 ·

... and so it came to pass that I finally got to meet my fellow Pinoy bloggers in a post- Christmas Party held last December 30 at the Cabalen restaurant of SM Megamall (with a hop-over to Star Bucks after that). No threat of storms, tsunamis or LRT bombing attacks could have prevented me from skipping this event. I was simply too excited to meet my online palsTito Rolly and Dr. Emer who I've been corresponding with through emails, comments and the occasional text messages. It was good to know that they - and everyone else, I should say - were as nice in person as they ... Continue Reading...
