Our recent staycation in Alabang was very productive. I was able to discover new places and food haunts. One of these is the Union Jack Tavern on the second level of Festival Mall. It's a spacious and homey British pub that one doesn't expect to find in a mall. The ambiance is nice, service is friendly and they serve great Indian & British food... definitely a must-visit if you are like me who gets sentimental about Europe! ;) The place appears to be popular with the foreign community in this part of Manila. Pie Face MOA has the best Aussie pies in Manila!
Pinoys aren't really a pie-eating people. I don't mean pizza but PIE. We love our burgers, pastas, steaks, noodles, adobo...but pies? The nearest thing to what I'm referring to is probably our empanada but it's different in terms of texture & shape and is more Spanish than anything. Bellysima food fest every Fri & Sat in Glorietta 5!
It's the long Independence Day weekend in the Philippines! Some people (like me) will just be staying in Manila and so, this will be a good time to visit the BellySima Food Festival launching this June 12 and 13, from 10am to 10pm, at the Glorietta 5 Atrium in Ayala Center, Makati City. If you love Korean food and pop culture like me, you'll surely be delighted with the news that their No. 1 pizza chain has opened its maiden store in Greenbelt 3 Makati City. I missed eating here when I visited Korea (where they have 400 stores) but not to fret, @MrPizzaPh is really good too! Parque Espana Residence Hotel in Alabang : a review
Parque Espana Residence Hotel in Alabang is kinda off the radar but some people would consider it a boon that it's in a quiet, still uncrowded location. Also, the area of this hotel is fast developing. There are big outlets of McDonalds & Jollibee nearby and it's just across Commercenter building with its hip row of new bars & restaurants.
