Pnoy SONA 2012: all ready
Everything's set for President Aquino's report to the nation later.Storm Ferdie exited the country already, but there will still be no classes in some Quezon City public schools which are in close proximity to Batasang Pambansa, the venue of the President's speech. This annual event is such a big deal, and even fashion watchers regularly await what the women legislators are wearing ( related question: will Shalani Soledad show up?) ’tis the season for polka dots
Polka dots is something I associate with the New Year. In the past, silly old me would end up with a top or dress (make it a frumpy house dress) with polka dots in them, along with jingling coins in my pocket at the stroke of 12:01. This is how I felt the first time using the Jot capacitive touch stylus by Adonit. It looks like a pen but boy, how it works magic the moment you have it in your hands. I reckon this is highly recommended for ... Continue Reading...
Sound Kick by Soundfreaq Bluetooth speakers
Frankly, I've never entertained the idea of having Bluetooth speakers until a unit of Sound Kick under the label Soundfreaq was sent to me for review. My unfamiliarity with the bluetooth boombox effectively relegates me to the five-meter power cord era but hey, every technophobe deserves a second chance. In this case, a chance to be free from the entanglement of cumbersome wires. This is the rationale behind this awesome gadget called Sound Kick. Totally wireless but with awesome sound. Because am a first-time user, this gadget intimidated me at first. But ... Continue Reading...
