The big bash announcing the launch of Cherry Mobile's Android smartphones featured a nimble and sexily clad pole dancer. Some of us could only say "WHA??!" It turned out to be a euphemism for something - Cherry Mobile revving up the excitement for the competition and pole vaulting its way to challenge giants like the Apple iPhone. Give credit to the fact that Cherry Mobile is one of a few Filipino-owned companies in a telecoms market dominated by global brands. Take, for example , the Cherry Mobile Superion which is a multi-touch tablet like the iPad, but ... Continue Reading...
Noynoy & Shalani break-up rumor hounds cyberspace
Have they, or have they not broken up? Seems the truth is hard to find out at this point in time. The bachelor president has told the media that he wants the little that's left of his privacy for himself. Break-up rumors have hounded the two since the start of P-noy's presidency. Perhaps, it's people putting two and two together: how can a very busy President have time for his girlfriend? Or blame it on some people who have agendas of their own. Some girls probably don't want the country's most eligible bachelor to end up with Shalani :D Take for example the ... Continue Reading...
Actress & model Rachel Grant endorses Human Nature
Half-British, half Filipina actress and model Rachel Grant played a supporting Bond Girl to Pierce Brosnan in Die Another Day. She remains busy with her showbiz career and shuttles between LA and New York for her engagements. Meeting her at the Peninsula Manila this week, I was quite in awe as it was my first time to meet somebody from Hollywood. I was quite distracted with the huge sunflower accent on her dress which she sewed herself. It was good that she looked every inch kind and friendly :D Showbiz stars are known for their multi-million peso endorsements. But ... Continue Reading...

The trick is to be in the line early, to have nice products to sell and of course, have sufficient capital to pay bazaar fees. Christmas bazaar organizers, especially the big ones, call for vendors as early as the first quarter or the first half of the year. When I made my post about the 2010 Christmas bazaars, I got a lot of inquiries on how to join. The best thing to do is to contact bazaar proponents. ... Continue Reading...
Iberet ‘Gift of Life’ class
A good support system is important during pregnancy. When I was carrying my baby Lucy (now four months), I was most thankful to the hubby for driving me to and from work, indulging my food cravings and absorbing my mood swings :D I would have liked to bond with fellow preggy mommas but unfortunately none of my friends were pregnant the same time I was. So yeah, what fun it would have been if I joined some sort of pregnancy class. I was acquainted with the Iberet Gift of Life class just recently and would readily recommend this to couples coping with the highs and ... Continue Reading...
