Just because it's Alert Level 1 doesn't mean we have to let our guard down in the fight against Covid-19. Even with the lifting of restrictions, the virus hangs in the air like a threat, ready to strike again. Best to be ready at all times and observe the usual health and safety protocols. Caritas Manila donates to Ukraine
Caritas Manila, the social services arm of the Archdiocese of Manila recently gave an initial $20,000 or the equivalent of over P1M as humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Caritas Ukraine accepted the donation from Caritas Manila Executive Director Fr. Anton CT Pascual. The money will go to helping the civilian population of Ukraine caught in the war.
