I know of a lot of people who want to do something meaningful this Christmas. Donating to the victims of typhoon Pablo in Mindanao is one. How about bidding for an online charity auction which you can do right in the comfort of your own home? Bizchum at bizchum.com, the Philippines' first social commerce network, is presently auctioning off celebrity items to benefit ChildHaus, a halfway home for indigent pediatric patients afflicted with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The best part: some of the items go for a starting bid of only P1,000. Our ... Continue Reading...
Greenwich Party Size Pizza for Xmas
It wasn't even end of November yet and our favorite people from Greenwich hosted a Christmas party at Makati Shang-ri La. I went to the event because of these pretty celebrities (accent on Anne Curtis because I watched her latest movies ... in real life, she was so warm & friendly!) After going kilig over him in The Mistress, I was secretly hoping John Lloyd Cruz would also be there but I guess he was busy attending to Angelica :) In this poster, the Greenwich Barkada look so happy. Watami now in the Philippines!
Note: The first branch of this popular international Japanese casual restaurant chain is at the Mall of Asia. Kudos to the Bistro group (TGI Friday's, Italianni's etc.) for bringing Watami to Manila and the Philippines. First impressions: lots of items to choose from in the menu, food is good, prices are affordable and service is quick. Ambiance is modern industrial and I love the couch seating. I dig the fact that they have a half serving of their in-house Watami Salad at P220 which already looks like a full serving to me. This salad can be a meal in itself ... Continue Reading...
Team O: what a year!
Finally, they're in one roof. After being apprised of their exciting activities by Bridges PR, we were really excited to meet the affable members of Oishi's Team O together. In this photo: (from left) Tim Yap, RockEd's Gang Badoy, Slater Young, comedian Ramon Bautista and Elmo Magalona. The event where we met them also served as Team O's advanced Christmas party (so lucky of me to win an iPod Touch in the raffle, eh heh).My blogger-friends and I have more photos with them after the jump: ...
