FHM Philippines' March 2012 issue is now out with a redesigned cover of British-Filipina actress Bela Padilla. We dare say this new cover is a tamer one and shows how the FHM people bowed to public pressure after the first cover showing Bela with five black women in the background was branded as "racist" by some. Verdict: they could have at least retained the foxy bikini in the axed cover. Bela in swimming top and micro mini for the new FHM cover looks conservative and makes her good enough for the summer issue of Cosmo (which incidentally now has KC Concepcion ... Continue Reading...
Magnum ice cream is here!
First of all, I was curious to know what Magnum was. The last time we heard, a gun and (ehrmmm...) large-sized condoms were also called Magnum. Meeting LuLu at Rockwell
An invitation that read "this is where PNoy took Grace Lee out on a date" certainly got me curious about the new restaurant called LuLu in Rockwell. Okay, this used to be the old resto called Lu (which I never got to try) until it was sold to the new owners, Chef Tom Hines and DJ/ businessman Rodel Intia. Judging from the initial degustacion (where I sampled a little bit of everything that was on my lunchmates' plates), looks like LuLu is a place I can go to again and again, budget permitting :) First of all, I like the merry mix of contemporary and retro in the ... Physiogel for dry skin
I first heard of Physiogel from a derma who recommended it to me and my babies. This is one product that I don't often see in supermarket shelves but is a fixture in drugstores and skin clinics. That certainly says something about Physiogel's reputation among pharmacists and doctors. It's secret? The ability to resuscitate dry skin with a revolutionary technology called Derma Membrane Structure (DMS). DMS repairs the skin barrier and helps prevent moisture loss, whereas conventional moisturizers may only provide temporary moisturization by coating the outer layer of ... Continue Reading...
