It's Litratong Pinoy taym once again at okay ang tema ngayong linggo na ito: kahit ano puwedeng ipaskil at isulat. Pero bago ang lahat, binabati ko kayong lahat ng Happy New Year, gaano man ka-belated. I like the New Year kasi it gives me an excuse to make resolutions na hindi naman lahat natutupad. Sa 2009, ito ang gusto ko: 1. Kumain ng mas maraming gulay at prutas. Mag-ehersisyo. Nakakatamad kasi. 2. Mag-blog pa rin, pero iwasan ang pagiging adik sa Plurk at Facebook :D 3. Magsuot ng mas maraming palda kesa pantalon, para naman feeling lady (hehe) ... Continue Reading...
Go ahead, Plurk your world!
This post first appeared in Manila Bulletin's Terchnews last December 24, but I don't think it was uploaded online. So here's sharing with you my thoughts on Plurk and the many ways by which you can Plurk your world! Is the Philippines on its way to becoming the next Plurking capital of the world? My not-so-late Christmas wishlist
My Manila Bulletin column on A Blogger's Wishlist For Christmas appeared two weeks ago, and am reprinting it here. ‘The Music Coming From The House’ : A Christmas Tale from Paulo Coelho
I treasure the email I got last week from one of my favorite authors, Paulo Coelho. He attached a short story which is worth pondering over this Christmas. No matter what our stature is in life, we always have to be ready to welcome our God and our salvation who knocks on our doors, sometimes when we least expect it. Happy Holidays to all of our readers, friends and family! The music coming from the house Paulo Coelho On Christmas Eve, the king invited the prime minister to join him for their usual walk together. He enjoyed seeing the decorations in the ... Continue Reading...
Royce Rockwell: the initial price list
Royce Chocolates has always been elusive to Manilans and aren't we glad they now have an official franchisee in the Philippines. These are the Angs, the same family behind the Diamond Hotel. Royce Philippines first store is now on soft opening in Rockwell - a timely occurrence we might say, since it's the peak of the gift-giving season that's Christmas! Before this, we were quite content getting our Royce fix from Japanese stores like Konbini in Greenhills or whoever brought these divine chocs home from Tokyo, Hong Kong or Singapore. Royce Manila was kind enough to ... Continue Reading...
