Reclining great Buddha at Nanzoin Temple, Japan
It was our last day in Fukuoka. Our flight was still in the evening and we were figuring out what to do. My companion Shiela decided to explore Canal City (essentially a huge shopping mall) while I travelled by my lonesome on a JR train to see the giant Buddha of Nanzoin. Cherry blossom viewing experience 2016 in Japan
Last February, my friend Shiela and I booked our tickets to Fukuoka in Japan not knowing that our arrival date would also signal the flowering of the cherry blossoms in the area.
