It was my first time to try Cebu Pacific outside of their Hong Kong-Macau flights and had a good experience (disclaimer: this is NOT a sponsored post, LOL). I just had to be in this flight because am trying to make a list of all the exotic places I want to visit in Asia and Siem Reap (home of the Angkor Wat) is one of them. Cebu Pacific is the only local airline right now flying straight to Siem Reap and for the savvy traveler, this is definitely faster than taking the overland route from Bangkok or Ho Chi Minh City. Travel time is two hours 45 minutes. The flights ... Continue Reading...

Review: Crumpler Vegetable From Inside the Mountain
Zoom in! That's moi with my favorite travelling backpack at the moment, the Crumpler Vegetable From Inside the Mountain. I don't know why some Crumpler bags have these really long names but I've used this label long enough to appreciate the quality and thoughtfulness that goes with each product. In the case of this bag in review, I really like it for its use of light materials which doesn't make carrying it a big burden. This is the front view of the bag with all three components. There's a sizeable pouch for holding shoes , shirts or whatever you like and a small ... Continue Reading...
Tsukemen experience at Mitsuyado Sei-Men
Although I've been eating ramen for a long time now, the tsukemen (dipping noodles) experience was something new to me.In Manila, only one new Japanese restaurant offers this at the moment and it's at Mitsuyado Sei-Men on Jupiter St. Makati. The tsukemen concept is basically that the noodles are separated from the soup and its toppings so you have a plated presentation like this serving of Marotoku Tsukemen (P340) - Step 1: hold the noodles with the chopsticks, step 2: dip it in the soup. Eat at your leisure getting the toppings and slurping more soup. ... Continue Reading...
PF Chang’s now open in BGC!
After a successful opening in Alabang, the US-based PF Chang's China Bistro finally opened at the Bonifacio Global City just in time for Valentine's and Chinese New Year. The interiors are quite different from their Alabang location. This one is predominantly light wood and has a laid-back country feel. Their trademark terra cotta horses are still noticeable by the entrance. Here's a view I took from the second floor after negotiating the steep stairs (note: not really advisable for senior citizens) PF Chang's is at the W Global Center, BGC (nearest to CAV in ...
