2010 Christmas bazaars in Manila: how to join

October 4, 2010 ·

An entrepreneur who is just new to the bazaar business would probably be at a loss on how to join the 2010 Christmas bazaars in Manila. It's quite fairly easy. The trick is to be in the line early, to have nice products to sell and of course, have sufficient capital to pay bazaar fees. Christmas bazaar organizers, especially the big ones, call for vendors as early as the first quarter or the first half of the year. When I made my post about the 2010 Christmas bazaars, I got a lot of inquiries on how to join. The best thing to do is to contact bazaar proponents. ... Continue Reading...

Iberet ‘Gift of Life’ class

October 4, 2010 ·

A good support system is important during pregnancy. When I was carrying my baby Lucy (now four months), I was most thankful to the hubby for driving me to and from work, indulging my food cravings and absorbing my mood swings :D I would have liked to bond with fellow preggy mommas but unfortunately none of my friends were pregnant the same time I was. So yeah, what fun it would have been if I joined some sort of pregnancy class. I was acquainted with the Iberet Gift of Life class just recently and would readily recommend this to couples coping with the highs and ... Continue Reading...

Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao in Greenhills for hubby’s birthday

October 2, 2010 ·

I haven't been to Greenhills in ages. Hubby wanted to go here because he received tips from online folks that this is the place to go to in Manila for Xbox repair. You see, it's not only a haven for clothes and accessories but also the latest in mobile phones and electronics equipment. I think they sold the iPhone 4 here, even before it was offered by Globe to its subscribers. Greenhills also equals food. The whole area is peppered with restaurants boasting of good food to try. And at present, one resto packs them in - Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao which is an ... Continue Reading...

Philippine School of Interior Design graduation exhibit: Caleidoscope

September 28, 2010 ·

If you got time, catch the graduation exhibit of the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) Advanced Class of 2010, which runs from October 3-31 2010, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m, at the Athena Building, Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City. It's an exhibit I look forward to every year, even if, sometimes, I just look at the designs in magazines and newspapers. There's something about a room when it's professionally planned and laid out. Reason why I even get a kick out of visiting model units of condos and gaping at how interior designers often do magic out of a shoebox ... Continue Reading...
