Melody Gersbach dies in car accident
I and the rest of this beauty queen-crazy country are certainly shocked at the death of Melody Gersbach at the young age of 23 in a car accident this morning. She was Bb. Pilipinas International 2009 and was in the top 15 of the Miss International beauty pageant held the same year in Chengdu, China. Max's chicken-all-you-can promotion @ P165 was such a big hit, I know. Where else in the world can you get irresistibly good chicken for a little more than $3 in an eat-till-you-drop fashion? Unsolicited plug: Shalani Soledad is the cover girl of People Asia's August 2010 issue. It is a magazine I never bought, if only because they could do better to improve the lay-out and the articles. president.gov.ph website unveiled – interact with P-Noy
Today, Aug. 16, 2010, the Office of the President of the Philippines unveiled the new website of President Noynoy Aquino. I believe it is a new domain name under gov.ph. It seems when you type the old OP website address now (@ op.gov.ph), it now redirects to president.gov.ph. Still, I think the use of "president" makes it all clear and specific and this is a good move by the newly-created Presidential Communications Operations Office.
