When I was still working in an office, we had executive health check-ups every year and "fatty liver" would come up in the findings of some colleagues. This is how I got to know about this disease and how prevalent it is. Thankfully I don't have it but it's always worth getting tested especially if one has high use of alcohol, has history of hepatitis, is underweight or obese, and taking medications for a long time. For example, did you know that taking herbal, natural supplements can damage the liver? When taking medications prescribed by the doctor, it is also ... Continue Reading...
30 years of Lemon Square Cheesecake
Lemon Square Cheesecake is a familiar product moms like me see in grocery shelves. In fact, I've bought it countless times while all four children were growing up. I really thought this was made by some big manufacturer but I was surprised to learn it had humble beginnings. It was kinda overwhelming for all of us mainly because we still viewed Cali as a baby and now she's taking to motherhood ever so naturally. It's the wonders of creation at work and we have no choice but to accept this reality. Here are all of them in all their cute glory ... Continue Reading...

If you follow my social media posts, you will know that am more of a coffee drinker than a milk drinker. I know that this is wrong since I should be ingesting more calcium at this age.Things are simply not the same as I feel my bones crack whenever I engage in some strenuous activity, LOL. I have a game plan for fighting the discomfort of being older and less nimble. For example, I've become more aggressive in taking supplements. And it was certainly good news that my favorite adult milk ANLENE now has a White Coffee flavor! This is aside from the chocolate and ... Continue Reading...
