Max's chicken-all-you-can promotion @ P165 was such a big hit, I know. Where else in the world can you get irresistibly good chicken for a little more than $3 in an eat-till-you-drop fashion? Unsolicited plug: Shalani Soledad is the cover girl of People Asia's August 2010 issue. It is a magazine I never bought, if only because they could do better to improve the lay-out and the articles. At P180, it is also more expensive than my favorite mags Metro & Preview :D But I guess with Shalani, otherwise known as President Noy's girlfriend, curiosity gets the better of me. president.gov.ph website unveiled – interact with P-Noy
Today, Aug. 16, 2010, the Office of the President of the Philippines unveiled the new website of President Noynoy Aquino. I believe it is a new domain name under gov.ph. It seems when you type the old OP website address now (@ op.gov.ph), it now redirects to president.gov.ph. Still, I think the use of "president" makes it all clear and specific and this is a good move by the newly-created Presidential Communications Operations Office. Weekend night dinner: Bistecca @ Rockwell
Because we hardly eat red meat at home, hubby and I unconsciously find ourselves on a mission to try the best steak places in Manila. The last one we had was at the Rotisserie of the Manila Pavilion Hotel - still one of the best, classic places to have a mind-numbingly good steak in this part of town.
