Aliwan Fiesta 2009: costumes and faces
Holy schmoly, it's my first time to cover a festival in the history of this blog. This is the Aliwan Fiesta Grand Parade which was held today (April 25) at the CCP Complex grounds and then culminating at the Quirino Grandstand. The erratic weather threatened to dampen the festivities, as it was raining in Manila for the past few days. Kapag ako ay nagibibiyahe, mahilig akong maglitrato ng cityscapes. Meron pa nga akong kuha sa loob ng World Trade Center bago ito gumuho noong 2001.So far, na-compile ko pictures na kuha sa Singapore (mula sa hotel), Malaysia (siyempre, Petronas Tower), at Japan (nightscape). Ace Water Spa summer fun
I wanted to go somewhere out of town last Holy Week (like Pansol), but laziness at making the long drive got the better of me. Until my kids said "Ace Water Spa!" They really enjoyed their first time there and wanted to go back. It used to be that their favorite was the Fontana Leisure Park in Clark. Ace - located in Del Monte Avenue, Quezon City (corner of Banawe) - is more expensive, but it's also nearer and is already a good alternative for them.
